Booking the appointment: Clients can book an appointment for an in-home massage session online. Clients need to provide information such as their address, contact information, and any specific requests they may have for their massage session.
Preparing the space: Before the massage therapist arrives, the client should prepare a clean, clutter-free space for the massage. Clients may provide a clean sheet or towel on a bed or massage table, turning off any distracting electronic devices, and setting the room temperature to a comfortable level.
The arrival of the massage therapist: The massage therapist will arrive at the client's home at the scheduled time, and bring their own massage table, linens, oils, and any other equipment they may need. They will also bring a portable speaker or music device to create a relaxing atmosphere.
The consultation: Before the massage begins, the therapist will conduct a brief consultation with the client to discuss any medical conditions, injuries, or areas of the body that need special attention. This information will help the therapist customize the massage to the client's specific needs.
The massage: Once the consultation is complete, the therapist will leave the room, wash their hands and allow the client to undress and lie down on the massage table, covered with a sheet or blanket. The therapist will then begin the massage, using a variety of techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, or hot stone massage to help relax the muscles and relieve tension.
Post-massage: After the massage is complete, the therapist will leave the room, wash their hands and allow the client to get dressed in privacy. The therapist may offer recommendations for stretches or self-care techniques to help maintain the benefits of the massage. The client may also be given the option to book future massage sessions, if desired.
-
The space should be enough to fit a portable massage table that is 73” length, 30” width. Please keep in mind an outlet may be necessary for hot stones.
-
We cannot provide more than one massage at a time but will gladly do a back to back session.

Some medical conditions that may require a doctor's clearance note before receiving a massage include but are not limited to:
Pregnancy
Cancer
Blood clots
Open wounds or sores
Fractures
Severe osteoporosis
Infectious skin conditions
Fever
Contagious illnesses
Additionally, if someone has been in a recent car accident, it is recommended to wait at least 14 days before receiving a massage to ensure that any injuries have had time to properly heal. It is important to inform your massage therapist of any medical conditions or recent injuries to ensure that the massage is safe and effective for you.
Note that massage is not intended for medical diagnosis or treatment, and should not be used as a substitute for medical care. If you have any medical concerns or conditions, it is recommended that you consult with your doctor before receiving a massage.
Lastly, it is important to be aware of any restrictions that may be in place at the massage studio or spa. For example, massage tables may have weight limits, our table has a working weight of 500 lbs.
In summary, while massage can be a very beneficial therapy, it is important to be aware of any contraindications or restrictions that may apply. If you have any medical conditions or concerns, it is always best to consult with your doctor before receiving a massage.
